Hassan Hosseini, co-director of INSPECT-LB, graduated as a medical doctor specialized in neurology from Paris XIII University School of Medicine. He earned his PhD in Neuroscience from Paris XII University. He is currently the Head of the Stroke Unit at Henri Mondor University Hopsital, Paris-Est Créteil, and the president of the AMFL (Association Médicale Franco-Libanaise). His major research interests are stroke, neuroprotection against ischemia and inflammatory disease, neuro-rehabilitation and neuro-stimulation after stroke. He received several research awards, and is fellow of several scientific societies.
