Elsy Ramia is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Lebanese American University (LAU) School of Pharmacy. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from LAU and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with distinction, with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics. She is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
Elsy’s academic and research interests include medication safety, healthcare quality, clinical pharmacy practice, digital health, and pharmacy education. Her research focuses on evaluating interventions that improve medication use, patient outcomes, and healthcare delivery, with particular expertise in patient safety and outcomes research. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and actively contributes to interdisciplinary research, teaching, and professional service initiatives in Lebanon.
