Paula Hage Boutros is an Assistant Professor and the Chairperson of the Nutrition Department at Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS). Her research focuses on exploring the associations between diet therapy and improving disease outcomes. Other areas of research include the impact of Mediterranean diet on health, diet for preventing metabolic diseases, assessment of mental health and food security across the nation. She has more than 12 years of experience as a clinical dietitian. She is a Licensed Dietitian in Lebanon and has practiced nutrition assessment and interventions for people across all lifespans. Currently, she supervises senior projects of nutrition students and engages in numerous conferences and seminars in health, nutrition, and food safety.
