Zainab Barakat is a PhD candidate in public health at the Doctoral School of Science and Technology, Lebanese University, in collaboration with the American University of Beirut. She holds a master’s degree in neuroscience from the Neuroscience Research Center at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences, where she was ranked first among her peers. Her main research interests include epidemiology, chronic diseases, neurological disorders, health-related quality of life, and scale validation. She currently has five published articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
