Clara Gerges is a third-year bachelor’s student in psychology at the University of Bordeaux, with prior academic experience at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Berlin. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of psychology, biostatistics, and the role of music in cognition and behavior.
She is especially drawn to exploring how music influences the mind, behavior, and psychopathology and aims to contribute to research that investigates its therapeutic potential. Her background in both psychological sciences and long-term musical practice motivates her to pursue interdisciplinary approaches that integrate empirical rigor with human experience.
She is currently interning at the Psychology Laboratory at the University of Bordeaux, where she is contributing to a power analysis project and developing her skills in data processing and statistical reasoning.
Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, with a strong foundation in German, she values cross-cultural perspectives and collaborative environments. She is eager to engage in projects that connect empirical inquiry with real-world human impact.
