Elissa Naim is a registered clinical nutritionist working in Lebanon. She has a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Food Science (Plant Biology) from Sorbonne Université Paris VI (Ecole Doctorale Complexité du Vivant, ED515) and the Lebanese University (Ecole Doctorale des Sciences et Technologie). She has also earned a Masters in Food Technology from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in Lebanon. Elissa also worked also as a community nutrition promoter following children under five, pregnant and lactating women’s health, in addition to a two-year experience as a food safety inspector. Moreover, her work as a nutrition resident for two years at Hôtel Dieu de France Hospital in Beirut has allowed her to increase her knowledge and expertise in medical fields related to nutrition. She aims to collaborate with experts in her field to promote health-related multidisciplinary research and optimize professional practice in Lebanon and abroad.
