Jalal Dahham is a Senior Economic Advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the State of Qatar and a Health Economics researcher. With over sixteen years of extensive experience as an Economic Advisor in various prestigious organizations, he has spent more than a decade focusing on healthcare business development, among other sectors.
Jalal holds a PhD in Health Technology Assessment from Maastricht University in the Netherlands and a Masters in Economics and Management from the University of Montpellier I in France. Additionally, he augmented his academic journey by completing Health Economics courses at Maastricht University and other esteemed institutions such as the University of Oxford, University of York, and the American University of Beirut.
His recent research is centered on studying the development of Economic Evaluation Guidelines and exploring the economic burden of chronic diseases in low- and middle-income countries. Furthermore, he specializes in quantifying health costs, assessing health outcomes, and evaluating the cost-effectiveness of health interventions.
