Description:

Teaching elementary and middle school students about the concept of microbiology, antibiotic use, hand, and respiratory hygiene, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) can shape their future behavior to become antibiotic guardians. Education on AMR and antibiotics is proven easier in childhood than adulthood with an already established knowledge and behavior about the topic. We aim to assess the impact of an educational interventional tool about microbes, infection spread and prevention, antibiotics, and AMR on boosting baseline knowledge and awareness about these topics.
